Black Cat Cycling Club is a cycling club in the county of Conwy on the picturesque North Wales coast. Formed in January 2014, by a group of cyclists who wanted a club that recognised the traditional values of club cycling and above all wanted enjoy their sport together.

Black Cat Cycling Club is built around the simple idea that cycling should be social, welcoming, and rewarding. We’re a friendly group of riders who value good etiquette, mutual support, and the shared enjoyment of riding together.
Our members range from those discovering club cycling for the first time to experienced riders with years of training behind them. What unites us is our love of cycling, the camaraderie of riding together, and making the most of the stunning roads and scenery of North Wales.
Ride together
Weekly Club Rides
We run 3 - 4 club rides each week, giving members plenty of flexibility to join when it suits them. You don’t need to attend every ride, come along as often as you like.
We usually set off from the Black Cat roundabout at Glan Conwy Corner, the landmark from which the club takes its name, and head out onto some of the best roads North Wales has to offer.
The easiest way to keep up to date with ride details, times, and any changes is to join our Facebook group. You’re also very welcome to send us a message if you’d like to know more or are thinking of coming along for the first time.
Event
Black Cat Cycling Challenge
The Black Cat Cycling Challenge is our annnual charity event, created to challenge riders while showcasing the very best of North Wales. From testing climbs to stunning coastal and mountain scenery, it’s a ride designed to be remembered.

Membership
Can I Join?
Membership of Black Cat Cycling Club is capped at 50 members to maintain a strong sense of community within the club. Although numbers are often near this limit, applications are welcomed from active and committed cyclists.
Prospective members are encouraged to contact the club and ride with us a few times before applying for membership.
